CARNIVAL OF CRIME

Rarely is so much talent and care given to the performance and delivery of a single short story. Laurie Altman's original score of popular riverboat themes and music of Twain's era is performed continuously throughout and in synchronization with Larry Kenney's reading. In addition, various sound effects are added. All these elements are combined with exceptional fidelity. The story describes the narrator's debate with his own personified and deformed conscience, the surprising result of which lead to the "carnival of crime."
