BEATLENESS How the Beatles and Their Fans Remade the World

Portraying both historian and interviewees can be a challenge for any narrator. Tamara Marston does an admirable job of seamlessly delivering both the narrative and quotes throughout this production. Leonard covers the history of the Beatles through the 1960s by examining their discography as well as interviewing fans. Marston projects with a steady cadence and an engaging tone throughout the narrative sections. However, she occasionally slips, making it unclear when she's narrating a quote. Nonetheless, her choice to avoid creating distinct voices for the interviews proves to be wise since there are hundreds of spoken passages from different people.
