Patrick Cullen's narrating experience creates an excellent audio presentation of six "easy to swallow" biographical capsules. His tranquil voice and clear diction allow the listener to relax with easy to follow descriptions of the most important contributions of Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Darwin, Curie, and Einstein. Interest level is sustained by combining theory with personal details of the scientists’ lives: Darwin was always seasick; Newton was forbidden to eat sweets. And Mme. Curie's first husband, Pierre, was run over by a carriage at the age of 47.
