THOSE WHO TRESPASS

Two staffers for a cable news outlet are murdered by someone trained in the methods of IRA assassins. The trail leads to an anchorman once sacked by the network as newspaper reporter Ashley Van Buren and cop Tommy O'Malley each pursue the case. Fox News Channel personality Bill O'Reilly doesn't give his novel a dramatic reading, sticking to his own familiar voice and journalistic style, but he does convey emotion and passion well. His style, and his characters, grow on one as the story progresses. This novel will be of most interest to O'Reilly fans wanting to see another side of the TV personality but should hold the attention of thriller fans, as well. J.A.S.
