Killing a president is not especially difficult, if you don't mind going to prison or getting killed yourself in the process. Getting away is quite another issue. When former Secret Service Agent Kurt Ford, now an Internet billionaire, seeks to avenge the death of his son, also a Secret Service agent, by killing the president, he builds an elaborate plan based on his intimate knowledge of how the service works. The pace is intense and builds throughout the novel. Ron Perlman adds no false drama to the action.
