There's no rest for the weary in this third audiobook in Foster's colorful series. After winning the Battle of Jo-Troom Gate, fledgling Jon-Tom (voiced by Gregory Linington) is sent on a quest to find medicine for his dying mentor, the turtle wizard (Chris Genebach). Displaced from his home dimension, Jon-Tom collects his morally challenged friend, Mudge (Bradley Smith), and they pick up new associates as they face obstacle after obstacle on their journey to save the wizard. Narrator Terence Aselford is a smooth, genial travel guide through Foster's tongue-in-cheek prose, and the talented cast never disappoints when it comes to voicing these multicultural characters of multiple species.
