An easy-going and whimsical, if self-indulgent, collection of mini-essays is written and read by the most avuncular man on radio today. Charles Osgood runs the gamut of spotlighting little-known spots of Americana, crime, morality, and even his own poetry. This recording would benefit from some interstitial music between Osgood's mellow meanderings, but those who are fans of his long-running short-form series will enjoy this greatly.
