EXTREME CHANNEL SURFING

This middle-aged comedy team's effort is a cross between an ANIMAL HOUSE humor project and two aging disc jockey's efforts at cutting-edge humor. While the material occasionally shines--and there are 56 cuts to choose from--in general, this is a sophomoric recording. Formatted as a "channel surf" through unlikely sponsors and programs, the production would be better if Dryden and Alcroft had created selections that would bear relistening...then they could riff on their tired "rubber underwear" joke to an even greater extent.
