THE SEVEN DAUGHTERS OF EVE

by | Read by Bryan Sykes

Contemporary Culture • 10 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2001

Professor Sykes, a geneticist, believes that seven female ancestors begat all humans with European blood. How he came to this by no means universally accepted theory he chronicles in this volume, digressing along the way with many fascinating anecdotes and details about DNA, archaeological genetics, and anything else that will pad this slim paper into full book length. He narrates surprisingly well for an amateur, in a pleasant voice with British intonations. Yet he sounds enervated and dull. He is best heard in short spurts. Y.R.
