Listeners will laugh with gleeful understanding as author and narrator Ashleigh Guice portrays Arianna of Atlanta as she shares the incredible highs and crushing lows of seeking romance. Guice deftly delivers Arianna's colorful expressions, such as "preparing a mantrap dinner" and "trying to keep the cookie in the cookie jar." Equally enjoyable is Guice's portrayal of the warm and enduring friendship between Arianna and her polar opposite friend, Bianca. Guice is at her best when Arianna hosts an earthy bachelorette party, with sound effects. She also creates a painful picture of Arianna questioning her judgment about men.
