NO ESCAPE FROM DANGER

How the mighty have fallen. Or rather, how the sophomores are sophomoric. Even freshmanish at times. The Harvard Lampoon, not only the spawning ground of the once-renowned comedy firebrand National Lampoon, but of many "Saturday Night Live" alums, has produced a comedy collection that might insult the intelligence of the prime demographic for Dude, Where's My Car? With the production values of a sixth-grade passion play and as little sensitivity, the Crimson Clowns need a summer session at Klown Kollege to sharpen their skills. Sadly, the Lampoon's current work lacks the depth of cultural influence and political savvy that its predecessors displayed with such dexterity. D.J.B.
