DAY OF WRATH

In late 1990s Western Ireland, a fanatical Christian group of militiamen takes a Muslim delegation hostage. At the same time, the British secret service, the IRA, and other Irish political, intelligence, and military factions are killing each other. Gerry O'Brian performs this political thriller with abandon. His Irish accents vary from person to person, his British accents are stiff and proper, and his American tones are flat but recognizable. When Easterman adds the Muslim extremist militants to the mix, the plot breaks loose, and the action moves to a truly terrifying climax. M.B.K.
