Narrator Terence Aselford and a full cast of talented performers bring excitement to this action-packed novella. The inspiration for the White Sand graphic novel series follows Kenton, a young man with the magical ability to manipulate sand who yearns to face the trials that lead to becoming a Sand Master. The intent to bring the story to life with sound and other special effects occasionally goes too far. Many of the scenes have the constant din of wind and blowing sand in the background, which is distracting and makes the dialogue slightly difficult to follow at times.
