This audiobook--a guide to local political activism coupled with a primer on major water pollutants and their health effects--is her response. Hearing Brockovich describe herself as a water warrior will inspire any listener to take up the cause. Her approachability and passion are especially highlighted during her profiles of specific communities that have been poisoned, like Flint, Michigan. The downside of the audiobook version is that it's harder to reference the voluminous scientific material on hazardous chemicals. As the title implies, the author wants this research to be actively used by listeners who may be defending their right to clean drinking water for the first time.
