This sampling showcases the Reduced Shakespeare Company's sophomoric wit, snapping and crackling with energy--like it or not. (The Bard has been reduced to a wheezy punch line here.) These harmless Beach Boys of comedy, nudging and winking with puns and other semi-intellectual content, clearly love what they're doing, delivering their vaudeville for the ears with irrepressible energy, which may or may not be a good thing. Just as they reach for the gray matter, they tumble to the cute, wacky, and yes, the flatulent. Production quality is clean and dances through the sound field.
