PRESIDENTIAL CONVERSATIONS FOR KIDS

Music and sound effects enhance this time-travel fantasy as Georgie and GiGi use a skateboard to transport themselves back in time to meet 14 U.S. presidents and learn an important lesson from each one. An arpeggio played on a set of bar chimes serves to segue from one president to the next. Stephen DeRosa imbues liveliness in the two children, filling them with admiration and awe for the men. He does an admirable job channeling the voices of the presidents, with some stronger (Carter, Biden) than others (JFK, LBJ). "The Impeachables" (Nixon, A.
