TOUCHED BY THE DEAD

The publicity for a newly appointed British cabinet minister brings in its wake a disturbing postcard that reads: "Who do you think you are?" When he investigates, our hero discovers that he, indeed, is NOT who he thinks he is and that he is the target of a murderous avenger. Peter Barnard does a particularly effective and understated job. His characterizations are vivid except for that of the main character. His low, mellow voice, reminiscent of fine old wine, sounds too mature for the 40-something idealistic bachelor.
