MY LIFE AS A CLONE

Talon David narrates this suspense story about a girl named Willa, who considers herself to be a clone. She and her dog, Rin--who is invisible to everyone but her--live with a family whose daughter died. Willa doesn't remember anything before the accident she was in five months earlier. The story's pace quickens during action sequences involving wild animals attacking humans, Willa's pursuit of a dog thief, and her dreams about a mysterious monster. Changes in pitch clearly demonstrate who is speaking and their emotions. Willa's shock, determination, and anger throughout the story and scenes in which frightened children appear are particularly notable. This is a chilling and emotional production--with some surprises.
