Her voice and delightful British accent are half the fun as Cunk combines real facts with absurd falsehoods in this send-up of TV experts and historians. The best part is that she delivers the information without a hint of sarcasm. Americans and other non-Brits won't get some of the jokes or references to British television, film, and politics, but that doesn't matter. The creators of "Brush Strokes," a British sitcom that aired from 1986 to 1991, owe Cunk royalties for all the times she works the series into her entries.
