Narrator Chanté McCormick has a strong no-nonsense tone that suits the sharp detective, who has recently lost her son in a senseless murder. McCormick also creates appropriate voices for the various other police officers and for the murder suspect. McCormick's narration has spunk and energy that will make listeners feel as if they're watching a television crime series. The range in her voice is entertaining, especially when she portrays colleagues who push Detective Foster's buttons. Listeners can count on a plot that keeps them guessing and a strong narration.
