SUMMER

Sandra Burr skillfully defines the characters in the latest novel by Karen Kingsbury. It seems that every emotion that can be experienced is part of this story, and Burr portrays them well. A continuation of the Baxter family saga, SUMMER focuses on the lives of newlyweds Katy and her movie star husband, Dane Matthews Their marriage is now in crisis due to the tabloids and a lack of communication with each other. Dane's sister, Ashley, and her husband face great emotional stress when they learn their unborn baby has a fatal birth defect.
