FOR THE LOVE OF COUNTRY

This production, intended for a younger audience, portrays the lives of 10 patriots from our War of Independence. Some of the names, such as Nathan Hale, Paul Revere, and John Paul Jones, will be familiar to listeners. Others, such as Sybil Ludington of Connecticut, Betty Zane of the Northwest Frontier, and Daniel Morgan of Virginia, will probably not be so familiar. All of these stories are ably performed by Bruce Miles and Laura Durant. The duo performs the wide range of voices—Northern and Southern, young and old, genteel and backwoods—with the great energy and drama that appeals to younger listeners.
