TELL ME THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE

The recent movie Four Weddings and a Funeral brought "Tell Me the Truth About Love" to the forefront of popular imagination. John Hannah's delicate Welsh accent enchances the playful qualities of the title poem. Unfortunately, the music overlaying the initial stanzas artifically sweetens them, insulting reader and poet alike. If you can overlook this flaw, the reading of ten poems is charming, if a trifle over-romanticized by the dialect and exposition of the reader.
