CAN INTERVENTION WORK?

by | Read by James Langton

Contemporary Culture • 7.25 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2011

Narrating a book written by more than one author could be difficult for a less adept narrator than James Langton. He manages to keep up with the backgrounds of the two researchers as well as the diverse subject matter, which examines the role of foreign policy in international affairs. Langton speaks in a purposeful tone with a light British accent, and his diction is precise and emphatic. However, his repetitive cadence and steady pitch may cause the thoughts of less intrigued listeners to wander. But for those who are interested in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Iraq, or how foreign policy decisions are made, this collection of essays will be rewarding.
