Dove narrates Parr's autobiography with a disarming friendliness that reflects Parr's gentle, self-deprecating humor. Dove also does good impressions of key real-life figures such as Reagan and journalist Walter Cronkite. The emphasis isn't on Reagan or the day of his assassination, but on Parr's life as a Christian, including his care of AIDS patients.
