This audiobook does to the bond-trading industry what GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS did for real estate--exposes the seedy underbelly of ruthless men and women out to make money at the expense of their clients. Oliver Wyman effectively narrates the novel, giving life to all the oddball characters like rebel hero Sid Geeder; up-and-coming "Eggs" Igino; evil boss "Coyote" Jack; and once beautiful Lisa Lisa. Using vocal nuances to differentiate the characters, Wyman explains the complicated world of bond trading through dialogue. His characterizations of greedy managers and the oppressed (but very well paid) workers called "bombardiers" are perfect, and he subtly teaches listeners about their business.
