They met and fell in love during a week-long summer camp experience when they were 15. Thirty-one years later, through secret letters and clandestine phone calls, they rekindle their passions and the loss of innocence proves fatal. Using two readers for a boy-girl romance is a logical method of making the piece a dramatic presentation. And it would be easier to discern between flashbacks and current events if the readers used urgency in their voices to help the sentences along. But there is no rushing to a climax that would take this presentation from the mediocre to the very good. Gregory Harrison manages some pathos for the male character, but Judith Ivey's reading is flat, pleasant, and all the same. Not sad, not rapturous, and certainly not dramatic. J.P.
