With his enthusiasm for spoken-word poetry, improv, and nonbinary politics, up-and-coming voice talent André Santana brings a personable feel to this satirical sci-fi romp. It's the third annual Saturation Day, the day when strange cosmic rays pelt the earth and for one unspeakable night many of the planet's "straight" or "overwhelmed" population turn into raging chain-saw-toting zombies. This year four LGBTQ+ friends decide to head for a remote cabin in the desert to wait out the brutal craziness. Sadly, it's not that easy. Santana is at his best when transitioning from the characters' banter to the chilling zombie mayhem. This audiobook is a fast-paced cocktail of social commentary, humor, and horror.
